The PFOS/PFOA water contamination, largely by the US military, is widespread. The more information that comes out, the more we find that this was preventable, and it is nearly everywhere.

The Bucks County Courier Times in Pennsylvania has been keeping up on this issue with sophisticated and detailed reporting, largely due to the skilled efforts of reporter Kyle Bagenstose. Delaware Riverkeeper Network Petitions To Set PFOA Standards

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network is petitioning Pennsylvania regulators to set a safe drinking water limit for the toxic chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA).

Currently, it’s unregulated in Pennsylvania beyond a modest EPA advisory limit.

The world is waking up to the dangers of PFOAs. Citizens in America have to demand that their health be protected from these harmful chemicals, as otherwise it appears absolutely nothing will be done.

This is beyond party politics and about the literal health of our nation.
