Rufus Rose on events that he feels may destroy our homes, our Island economy

“3. This is a political fight between people who bought their homes in a highly publicized noise zone. They acknowledged that fact in writing and now want the Federal Government to appease them. That may happen here as it has happened in many other locations where Military Facilities have spawned vibrant economies in otherwise isolated areas. Historically accidents that kill and frighten civilians in those communities result in Base Closures. If that happens here the economy of Island County will collapse.”
