COER is NOT Behind the Impending Non-Disclosure Lawsuit on Whidbey Island

A recent interview on KOMO television may have given the impression that Citizens of Ebey’s Reserve is involved in what may be an impending lawsuit against real estate agencies on Whidbey Island for non-disclosure of jet noise. COER is not behind this potential litigation.

During the television interview, COER’s president, Michael Monson, was interviewed about COER’s position on the OLF and the Growlers but none of that made it into the edited interview. The rest of the report was on the potential class action suit. A viewer could easily be confused.

This is not COER’s issue. It is another local group’s issue.

COER’s mission has not changed: close the Outlying Field in Coupeville and relocate the Growlers and their low-level Flight Carrier Landing Practices.
