Two scoping meetings that are a MUST GO TO!



At the request of elected officials, the Navy is holding two additional open house information sessions to provide members of the public with the opportunity to review project-related information, ask questions of Navy representatives, and submit comments on the scope of analysis and content to be addressed in the EIS. These events will be advertised in local newspapers in advance of the meetings. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the open houses any time between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm on the following dates and locations:

Comments may be provided in four ways:*

1. Provide written comments at any of the scoping meetings
2. Provide verbal comments to the stenographer, who will record your comments at the scoping meetings
3. Submit comments electronically
4. Mail comments to:

All written comments must be postmarked or received (online) by January 9, 2015, to ensure they become part of the official record.
*The names, street addresses, email addresses and screen names, telephone numbers, and other personally identifiable information of individuals who provide comments will be kept confidential and will not be released, unless otherwise specifically indicated by the commenter or as required by law. The city, state, and five-digit zip code of individuals who provide comments may be released.

The Navy held three open house sessions from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Coupeville High School; Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge; and Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Anacortes High School.
