Flight Operations Schedule at OLF Coupeville the Week of March 22 – 28, 2015
NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. –Field Carrier Landing Practice (FLCP) operations for aircraft stationed at NAS Whidbey Island are scheduled to occur at the Outlying Field (OLF) in Coupeville, Wash., Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27, 2015.
On Monday, March 23, FCLP training at OLF Coupeville is scheduled from early evening to late night. On Tuesday, March 24, FCLP training is scheduled from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. On Wednesday, March 25, FCLP training is scheduled from mid-morning to mid-afternoon, then again from early evening to late night. On Thursday, March 26, FCLP training is scheduled from early evening to late night, and on Friday, March 27, FCLP training is scheduled from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Please I am as patriotic as the next person but the sounds of all these jets for hours and hours on end, makes me feel like I live in a war zone minus the actual bombs. Please cut down on some of the practices. Thank you.
