Community Meeting on Increased Military Presence
If you are concerned about the increasing military presence on Whidbey and in our region – the growler noise, the SEAL training in the State Park or the electromagnetic warfare training – you’re invited to attend a meeting on Friday evening, March 4, at 7 PM at St. Augustine’s church in Freeland.
Everyone welcome – from the well-informed and active to the interested but not yet engaged. We’ll have a brief introduction and then organize into interest groups.
This meeting will be hosted by the Whidbey Island Fellowship of Reconciliation and St. Augustine’s church.
