Training for Navy Jets for March 21-25: As always, if the weather isn’t perfect, this is subject to change but it’s looking pretty dismal. This is likely to be a very bad week for people living actual lives under the flight path that require such things as going outside and sleeping.
Their schedule (copied below) is somewhat fragmented so here’s the actual summary:
Monday 21: Late evening into the night
Tuesday 22: Mid-day to mid-afternoon, and then late evening into the night
Wednesday 23: Late morning to mid-afternoon, and then late evening into the night (so basically only a brief break from jets ALL DAY AND NIGHT today)
Thursday 24: Late evening into the night
Friday 25: Early afternoon to late afternoon
Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP) operations for aircraft stationed at NAS Whidbey Island are scheduled to occur at the Outlying Field (OLF) in Coupeville, Wash., March 21 through 25, 2016.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 21, 22, 23 and 24, FCLPs at OLF Coupeville are scheduled from late evening into the night. On Tuesday, March 22, FCLPs are also scheduled mid-day to mid-afternoon and on Wednesday, March 23 from late morning to late afternoon as well as Friday, March 25 from early afternoon to late afternoon.

So I guess OLFers who come to watch the OLF don’t live “actual lives”. Nice to know. The bias is strong with you.
You were warned. It’s a Navy airfield, and the Navy should use it whenever they choose. You have no say, and the Navy doesn’t care what you think and neither does anyone else. Start your move to Canada because even Bernie won’t rescue you. I stand with the brave men and women who fly fighter jets – and so does the rest of Whidbey.
Yup. Complete waste of time. You were told that too. Everytime you throw a temper tantrum, I’m going to call the base and demand they launch another airstrike on OLF Coupeville. You just don’t get it. You’ve been trying to end the Navy here since 1980. Every lawsuit and politician has been soundly crushed. You are the ones who are not welcome here.
