Citizens of Ebey’s Reserve (COER) invites you to a community webinar that will tell you all about a new study on population health impacts associated with the EA-18G Growler jets: Human Health and Well-Being Implications of Pervasive Navy Aircraft Noise Pollution.

If this is of concern to you, don’t miss this webinar on Thursday October 27th, at 10-11 AM. Registration is not required, just join us at the event/meeting link: https://washington.zoom.us/j/95527368089

What you will learn includes…

    • Project objectives and expected outcomes
    • Who makes up the research team
    • Connections between noise and population health

This is the first of three community webinars for this project. Subsequent webinars will focus on interim and then final project results and products. The 1-year study was funded by the University of Washington Population Health Initiative, and was developed in close collaboration between Dr. Edmund Seto (U.W. Dept of Environmental & Occupational Sciences), Dr. Julian Olden (U.W. School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences), and leadership and volunteers with Sound Defense Alliance and Citizens of Ebey’s Reserve.
