COER’s first Action Rally is a big success – draws 80 people! The overpass and all four corners of Main Street in Coupeville were filled with people raising their voices against the increased noise.
Too many jets, too many flights, and too much noise. Passing cars honked their horns in support and cheered the sign-holders. There was lots of cheering and a sense of community. The Acton Rally followed a week of deafening jet flights over Coupeville. Saturday provided a little respite before 5 days of multiple training planned for the coming week.
